It’s a great experience to walk the beach in the mist and rain with the appropriate weather gear. But it’s a truly bracing feeling to take off shoes and socks, roll up your pant legs and walk in the surf. The water is cold and refreshing on your feet and legs, while the rest of you is warm. I did that this past winter and followed it with the perfect ending. Dinner at Long Beach Lodge and overnight in their cabin accommodation. It doesn't get any better. - Storm Watching in Tofino

Everyone goes to Tofino for the beach and the Long Beach Lodge Resort is in the perfect location. The employee services are outstanding, from the moment you check in, to passing employees in the hallway, to the fabulous service by Natalia in the Great Room. Chatting with Matt from maintenance we could hear the pride in his voice for the work he does and for the work his coworkers do to ensure a memorable stay for all guests. The entire stay was a positive experience, even the rain and wind on our last day couldn't dampen it down. We only had to ask for the fire pit to be lit and within minutes Ekaterina from the front desk was doing that for us to sit and enjoy the sound of the waves late into the evening. We have stayed at the Lodge for many years and always return for the beauty of the coast and the wonderful Lodge. The menu this year was very nice and the two course option was quite reasonable. Coming with friends we all enjoy the comfortable, relaxing atmosphere of the great room as well as our own rooms with wonderful views of ocean. We look forward to our next visit. My wife and I enjoyed another fantastic stay at the Long Beach Lodge. The setting is spectacular and the service is consistently excellent. We had a wonderful dinner in the Great Room Restaurant with a beautiful sunset over Cox Bay Beach and Pettinger Point. Special thanks to Teagan P. for all her assistance and making are stay so memorable. Also we enjoyed a Happy Hour drink and excellent service from Kjuu (sp?). We will be back next year again.
