The certified and experienced Surf Club team offers a wealth of knowledge and support for all skill levels. Elevate your trip with a private lesson or book an adventure for your group!

SURF LESSONS

Private Lessons (Year-round)

We offer private customized 2.5 hour lessons which means that you decide the pace and level of instruction. You are also able to decide the number of people in your lesson (maximum of 5 people per instructor); arrangements can be made for larger groups.

INCLUDES:

Full equipment rentals (wetsuit, booties, board) are included with all surf lessons
Full use of the Surf Club's luxurious facilities (showers/lockers/hot pool/sauna)

RATES:
2.5 HR PRIVATE SURF LESSON | $229
(And if you want some of your friends or family to join in on your private lesson, add $109 per person - max 5 people)

October - February: 10am & 2pm daily
March - May: 9am, 12:30pm & 3pm daily

SURF RENTALS:

High quality, locally made AFTANAS surf boards, are available for rent. These boards are designed specifically for our local ocean short period swell conditions and range in size from 5’10’’ to 9’6’’ giving us options for riding knee high or double overhead waves. The addition of these boards to our rental pool is to better serve our intermediate guest who no longer wants to ride our soft top line of boards.

A variety of surf equipment is available for rent in our Surf Club Adventure Centre. Surf rentals include access to shower and changing-room facilities.

RATES (PER PERSON / DAY):

$69 | Soft top surfboard, wetsuit and booties
(a reduced rate of $59 per person per day (includes board, wetsuit and booties) is available to all individuals who have taken a surf lesson with the Surf Club during their current stay and wish to get out on the water on their own for additional days)
$35 | Soft top surfboard
$49 | Performance surfboard
$35 | Wetsuit and booties

What an experience... I'm hooked! I couldn't stand sitting in the Great Room & watching the surfers any longer so signed up for a lesson with The Surf Club. Having never attempted this crazy sport, I really wasn't too sure what I was getting myself into but was told that I would be SAFE, WARM & have A TON OF FUN. It's all true! Imagine being warm while surfing in the cold waters of the Pacific Ocean in December! Try it... you'll get hooked too!!
