"Let the Good Times Roll"
Another fantastic stay at Long Beach Lodge. I think this was our 20th (or so) visit. We've been going here since the Resort opened in 2002 and have never been disappointed. Weather forecast is irrelevant as you'll have a great stay in good weather and bad. In fact, we prefer to visit in the shoulder seasons of winter/spring and fall. Resort has continued to upgrade rooms as required and added additional features and amenities over the years.
"Magical"
My husband and I stayed at the Lodge for three nights, celebrating my husband’s birthday. We splurged on the penthouse room and it was worth it. The room is updated beautifully and the bottle of cider and chocolate truffles welcoming us upon arrival were super sweet. The view from the room is spectacular and we enjoyed the amazing sunsets from our balcony. We had a dinner at the Great room and it didn’t disappoint. The staff was very friendly and the food was superb. The restaurant room is overlooking the Cox Bay beach and we enjoyed our breakfasts there as well and then went for a beach walk right outside the lodge. We have not used the sauna or the hot tub or the spa but they did look tempting. Maybe next time. This place is a wonderful oasis on the west coast. Highly recommended!
"Great location with very helpful and accommodating staff"
Stayed here for 3 days, and had a great experience. I requested extra pillows and a late checkout and both were accommodated instantly. They also have a sauna room and an outdoor hot tub with free access, so that's a huge bonus over some other hotels. The room wasn't a tiny shoe box like those in most modern hotels, and the WiFi speed was decent (not great). Overall, a pretty good place and would definitely recommend.
