We had been planning to stay somewhere on the West Coast of the Island for some time, and are very glad we chose Long Beach Lodge Resort...it's a wonderful, magical place to enjoy the beauty of our paradise of Vancouver Island! Unfortunately, my wife took ill and we had to cut our stay short. Our thanks to Ekaterina at the front desk for understanding, and we will be returning in the future when everything is better once again. Thank you most sincerely... We have both had a rough couple of years. My wife passed away a little over a year ago and my friend of about eight years lost her husband two years ago. She lives in Alberta and has only been out to the island a couple of times. We came to your lodge and reconnected with each other. My husband and I stayed at the Lodge for three nights, celebrating my husband’s birthday. We splurged on the penthouse room and it was worth it. The room is updated beautifully and the bottle of cider and chocolate truffles welcoming us upon arrival were super sweet. The view from the room is spectacular and we enjoyed the amazing sunsets from our balcony. We had a dinner at the Great room and it didn’t disappoint. The staff was very friendly and the food was superb. The restaurant room is overlooking the Cox Bay beach and we enjoyed our breakfasts there as well and then went for a beach walk right outside the lodge. We have not used the sauna or the hot tub or the spa but they did look tempting. Maybe next time. This place is a wonderful oasis on the west coast. Highly recommended!
