We have gone out to Tofino many times over the years, this year our regular spot wasn’t available. Thought we would try Long Beach Lodge. It was a great choice. Had a 3rd floor beach facing room, nice fireplace, wonderful sitting in the warmth after a day out to watch the sunset and the diehard surfers get a last few waves in. Had a couple dinners in the great room. Great service and great food. "Magical"

My husband and I stayed at the Lodge for three nights, celebrating my husband’s birthday. We splurged on the penthouse room and it was worth it. The room is updated beautifully and the bottle of cider and chocolate truffles welcoming us upon arrival were super sweet. The view from the room is spectacular and we enjoyed the amazing sunsets from our balcony. We had a dinner at the Great room and it didn’t disappoint. The staff was very friendly and the food was superb. The restaurant room is overlooking the Cox Bay beach and we enjoyed our breakfasts there as well and then went for a beach walk right outside the lodge. We have not used the sauna or the hot tub or the spa but they did look tempting. Maybe next time. This place is a wonderful oasis on the west coast. Highly recommended! We have both had a rough couple of years. My wife passed away a little over a year ago and my friend of about eight years lost her husband two years ago. She lives in Alberta and has only been out to the island a couple of times. We came to your lodge and reconnected with each other. We have a loving relationship and hope to stay with you again in 2025. Thanks for the wonderful time and we look forward to staying with you again. Pete and Linda.
